  • Ramone Carson

    Ramone is the founder and lead consultant of Lyceum LLC. Ramone works with school districts nationwide to promote teaching and learning. With 20 years of experience as a public school educator in various roles, he has supported the turnaround of historically underachieving schools in the Denver Metro area and earned recognition for improved hiring practices. Ramone holds an undergraduate degree from Western State College of Colorado and a master's in education with an emphasis in literacy from Lesley University. He is dedicated to inspiring teams and individuals to become lifelong learners and advocates for education reform.

  • Katy Carter

    Katy holds a BA in Environmental Studies from the University of California Santa Barbara, with a focus on political-economic infrastructures shaping US landscapes. She has worked at the Santa Barbara Community Hazardous Waste Collection Center and currently serves as a research consultant with Yostfish LLC, using Participatory Action Research to drive systemic change. Katy is dedicated to addressing climate change and enhancing community resilience, believing in the direct impact of local governments and organizations.

  • Ashley Cheyemi McNeil, PhD

    Ashley is the Director of Education & Research at Full Spectrum Features, an arts/media non-profit that works to uplift stories from marginalized communities, where she supports the team in community collaboration, development strategy, and fundraising as it relates to Full Spectrum’s K-12 educational projects and learning initiatives. Ashley is a public scholar and humanist with extensive experience working with cross-disciplinary teams of community partners, scholars, and stakeholders to create public-facing projects that disseminate stories and research. She has PhDs in Literary Studies and American Studies from Georgia State University and the Obama Institute for Transnational American Studies at Johannes Gutenberg University.

    Jack Corrigan

    Jack began his career in education in Ireland, expanding his expertise to include youth and adult professional development, curriculum change, and curricular alignment. With 13 years of experience teaching high school math and science in Ireland and Denver, Colorado, Jack focuses on creating engaging learning environments and leveraging technology. Currently, he uses his teaching background and passion for learning through technology to improve outcomes in the child welfare setting.

  • Betsy Fordyce, JD, CWLS

    Betsy is an attorney, trainer, and policy consultant focused on strengthening the capacity of nonprofits, government agencies, community coalitions, and individual practitioners to address challenges and achieve better outcomes on behalf of children, youth, and families. She’s previously served as the Executive Director of a child advocacy nonprofit, as a guardian ad litem in Colorado child welfare and juvenile justice cases, and as an adjunct law school professor.

  • Michael P. Hemenway, PhD

    Michael is the Director of Design and Data Science at the Association of Theological Schools and a Research Associate at Case Western Reserve University. With 20 years of experience, he specializes in facilitating organizational change through digital transformation and data science. Michael values presence and connection, combining these principles with data integration and machine learning to create thriving team environments. He holds degrees in Chemistry, Biblical Studies, and Religion.

  • Jessie Henderson

    Jessie, a Denver native, uses his justice-involved experience to empower underserved communities. As a Certified Peer Specialist for the University of Colorado Anschutz’s WORTH program, he bridges the gap between incarcerated individuals and the healthcare system. Jessie has contributed to organizations like Redemption Road Fitness Foundation and Forging Youth Resilience Denver.

  • Shannon

    Shannon Patterson

    Shannon is the President and Founder of Connection Works, a company that helps leaders and teams navigate the complex challenges and opportunities they face. Whether defining strategy, shifting organization culture, building a team, or developing people, Shannon helps people untangle and work more productively through the relational and operational dynamics that underpin our work. Her approach is grounded in organizational and leadership development theory and practice. Shannon holds a B.A. in Psychology and an M.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Washington, and an M.S. in Organization Development from Pepperdine University’s Graziadio School of Business and Management.

  • S. Fisher Qua

    S. Fisher Qua is based in northern New Mexico. His primary professional focus has been in education (postsecondary, with growing familiarity in K-12), community health and wellbeing, and supporting scientific research organizations. Fisher is committed to developing participatory approaches to address complex problems, harnessing the intelligence, imagination, and creativity of each individual involved.

  • Cristal Ramirez

    Cristal is the Youth Engagement Manager at the National Association of Counsel for Children, where she oversees the National Advisory Council on Children’s Legal Representation and youth engagement efforts, including training and resource development. She has helped develop a peer advocate program for Wyoming’s Office of the Guardian ad Litem, collaborating with youth and various professionals. With a Master’s in Counseling focused on Social Justice Education from San Diego State University, Cristal also has experience as a College Advisor and Mentor, working with diverse, underprivileged student groups.

  • Zubair Siddiqi, LLM

    Zubair Siddiqi, LLM, brings over ten years of experience working in the justice sector. As an Afghan legal expert, he has managed a nationwide Case Management System for civil and criminal cases. Siddiqi has also been instrumental in developing and promoting digital platforms for various justice entities. Siddiqi has been a consultant for the Capacity Building Center for Courts since 2021. He is a pioneer in using Artificial Intelligence (AI) to analyze large qualitative data sets in child welfare projects. Siddiqi is pursuing a second LLM in U.S. Law at George Mason University.

  • Crystal Soderman Duarte

    Crystal is a Client Services Associate at Social Entrepreneurs (SEI), bringing expertise in strategic planning, curriculum development, program management, and grant writing. Previously, she spent nine years at the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges (NCJFCJ), where she managed grants and developed educational programs for judges. Crystal also worked for a U.S. Senator, assisting constituents with various issues. She holds a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Nevada, Reno, and a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of San Francisco.

  • Allyson Stiffler

    Allyson is the founder and owner of Type A Consulting, LLC, which specializes in administrative support, operational services, and project management. With eight years of industry experience, Allyson is dedicated to empowering entrepreneurs and small businesses. Since establishing Type A Consulting six years ago, she has collaborated with over 110 organizations across 16 states, including digital product consulting agencies, LinkedIn marketing strategists, luxury brand copywriters and change management consultants, delivering customized support services that enhance operational efficiency and ensure project success.

  • Alicia Summers, PhD

    Alicia has worked with child welfare court systems for 18 years, providing technical assistance and evaluating practices and programs, such as mediation, specialty courts, quality court hearings, ICWA compliance, and quality legal representation. Dr. Summers is the director of Data Savvy Consulting and also serves as Affiliate Faculty at the University of Nevada Reno for the Interdisciplinary Social Psychology Program.

  • Daniel Trujillo

    Daniel provides crucial support to teams in the child welfare sector, creating practical solutions through strategic partnerships with a focus on racial justice. He collaborates with state court improvement programs on training and credentialing and has hosted over 100 webinars and virtual courses. As the Director of Certification, Sales, and Technology at the National Association of Counsel for Children, he also directs the ABA-accredited Child Welfare Law Specialist program, certifying hundreds of attorneys. With over 19 years at NACC, Daniel is committed to fostering sustainable, transparent programs that enhance outcomes.

  • Mel Wheeler

    Mel is a former Montessori educator and theater professional with both a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Studies and a Montessori Secondary Credential. She has been involved in projects from Montessori Model United Nations conferences to running children’s improvisation workshops to working for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Washington County, Virginia to teaching at the Montessori Education Center of the Rockies. She currently owns her own business providing educational coaching for secondary school teachers and administrators.

  • Sara Willis

    Sara is passionate about helping people thrive by removing barriers and providing tools, connections, and solutions. Since 2008, she has served as the Business and Conference Manager at the National Association of Counsel for Children (NACC), overseeing daily operations and coordinating the annual National Child Welfare Law Conference. With over 20 years of experience as an early childhood educator and advocate, Sara has expertise in supervision, teacher training, parent education, and contract management with programs like Head Start and State Preschool. A national speaker on educator self-care, Sara holds a BA in psychology and an MA in early childhood education.

  • Andrew Yost, JD, PhD

    As a co-founder of Yostfish, Andrew uses humor, sincerity, design theory, and imagination to bring communities together and get things done. He has a diverse educational background, including a BA in philosophy, an MA in theology, a JD, and a PhD in the study of religion. Andrew is also a skilled speaker, coach, and facilitator, focusing on complexity science, community building, adult learning theory, and state and tribal child welfare issues.
