About Yostfish

At Yostfish, we believe the best solutions to complex community challenges arise not from the knowledge of outside consultants, but from the wisdom of the community members. We are not consultants offering cookie cutter solutions, but rather a skilled group of facilitators employing a handful of techniques to create spaces in which communities can reshape the systems affecting them.

Our approach to solving complex problems is grounded primarily in the field of complexity science, a set of concepts and tools that seeks to understand complex systems by examining how interactions between facets of the system impact each other both directly and indirectly. Using a set of complexity-informed skill sets and methods, we're able to shift the default patterns of group interaction, making it possible to include, engage, and unleash all participants in solving the complex issues they face.

Our Mission

Yostfish is here for Good. Our mission is to help people thrive, unleash the collective wisdom of communities, and co-create the conditions that enable everyone to flourish.

The Yostfish team is an eclectic mix of unique individuals. We hail from different places, were raised in different cultures, and rarely share the same opinions. We we find strength in variety.
